RENDEZVOUS ON THE RESERVE

September 17-18-19, 2027
Picture
Experience life in the Northwest Territory when Indiana was the edge of the wilderness.
Rendezvous on the Reserve is a fur-trade era living history encampment held on the former reservation of Francois Godfroy, the last war chief of the Myammia (Miami) tribe.

This authentic recreation spans the years of 1760-1840 with a gathering of natives, fur traders, long hunters, and early settlers. This historic site was personally chosen by Chief Godfroy in accordance with the terms of the 1818 Treaty of St. Marys between the Myaamia and the U.S. Government.
